Intro and job overview:

Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. This is an 10-week program that begins June 9th and ends on August 15th. This opportunity is 100% remote and you must be located in the United States during the summer internship. The UX Design Intern will work closely with the R&D team.

As a UX Design Intern, you will be part of the global EngageOne UX design team that defines end-to-end digital experiences of SaaS products and solutions. Our approach to user experience is grounded in design thinking. We work with our cross-functional product teams to build empathy for our users and then define, design, validate and iterate on design concepts. During this internship you will have the opportunity to learn from a variety of experienced designers and work your way through Design Thinking methodologies to deliver experiences that enhance our products.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Help define the user journey and interface for new and existing products and features.
  • Develop sketches, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Gauge the usability of products and make constructive suggestions for change.
  • Run Design Thinking workshops for growth or alignment

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Precisely's internship program is designed for undergraduate rising juniors and seniors.
  • We prefer candidates located in Eastern Time Zone but all are welcome to apply
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, Human Factors/Ergonomics, or a related field.
  • Clear and effective English written, visual, and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable in user research methodology, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Experience with Figma. Bonus if you are familiar with creating Figma libraries.
  • Creating personas, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Familiar with Design Thinking and Lean UX principles & techniques.
  • Curious and passionate about innovation and design.
  • Able to take direction and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Highly collaborative, flexible, and communicative.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Comfortable presenting recommendations to colleagues and stakeholders.
