The ideal candidate will be a blockchain/Web3 enthusiast with a proven track record in UI/UX design.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. User Interface Design
- Design and refine user interfaces for our Mercata platform, focusing on aesthetic appeal and user-friendly functionalities.
- Create and maintain design wireframes, mockups, and specifications as needed.
2. User Experience Enhancement
- Conduct usability tests and gather feedback to hone the efficiency and simplicity of our platforms.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to align the overall user experience with strategic business goals.
3. Innovation and Standards
- High proficiency in Figma and able to leverage all its basic and advanced capabilities.
- Experience using design systems tools, process, and frameworks (React, Figma Plugins, etc.)
- Must have understanding of the Human-Centered Design process and role of usability testing.
- Stay updated with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies in the blockchain space.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure consistency across our website.
Required Skills:
- Proven expertise in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex design projects and/or design system work.
- Excellent understanding of responsive design for web and mobile platforms and creating a unified experience across the ecosystem.
- Experience working on highly transactional experiences (e-commerce or marketplace applications in particular).
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in UI/UX design, preferably with exposure to blockchain/Web3 technologies.
- Portfolio of projects with traffic or conversion impact
- Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions and an understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
