Med-Vet International is looking for an on-premise, front-end web designer to join our marketing team. Our ideal candidate is someone who can be creative and adaptive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving workspace. The main roles of this candidate will be maintaining and updating our website, designing marketing emails, creating print design, and helping manage our social media accounts.
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION you just be able to commute to the office on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Create promotional banners and booklets from scratch using the Adobe suite.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure seamless integration of visual elements, typography, and imagery to align with websites branding and design.
- Create, update, edit and test web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQUERY.
- Create intuitive user interfaces focused on customer experience and progression.
- Build email marketing campaigns in collaboration with corporate communications team.
- Debug, test and maintain existing codebase.
Required Skills and Experience
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines in a challenging environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Solid understanding of web design principles, user experience, and responsive design.
- Expert level knowledge and firsthand experience with HTML and CSS.
- Expert level knowledge and firsthand experience with JavaScript/jQuery.
- Expert level knowledge and firsthand experience in desktop, mobile and responsive web design.
- Solid understanding of API integration.
- Solid understanding of OOP, responsive design, and other web development principles.
- Strong attention to detail, a passion for quality, and the ability to conceptualize and define effective UI/UX.
Additional Experience / Willing to learn
- Visual design skills, including layout, typography, and color theory.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards and process flows.
- Portfolio of design projects.
- Familiar with Klaviyo.
