We are seeking a talented and motivated Website Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of web design projects, including creating custom designs for WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create visually appealing and functional websites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create websites that meet client requirements.
- Work with clients to understand their vision and translate it into a website design.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for website designs.
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the design process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.
- Take in to account accessibility standards when creating designs
- Come up with graphics and icons for visualizations and infographics
Requirements:
- Obsessive in your attention to small details.
- Proven experience of web and mobile app design
- Strong digital portfolio showcasing UX strategy and conversion-centered design.
- Experience with vector graphics (development of logo, patterns, icons, etc.)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Experience with website design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or XD.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of responsive design and grid principles
- Understanding of web design and typography trends, browser compatibility issues, and web design constraints when it comes to speed.
- The ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly.
- The ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines.
Bonuses to have
- Comfortable with the WordPress admin interface and editing abilities, specifically the Gutenberg block editor.
- Understanding of HTML and CSS.
