We are seeking a talented Web Designer to join our team at cellhelmet. You will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our direct-to-consumer and partner-facing websites. You will collaborate closely with our design team to deliver impactful digital experiences to our customers. HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
We are looking for a multi-faceted Digital Marketing Director to join the team. This position will be focused on driving sales and improving our brand reach through multiple digital channels. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Creative Director to develop engaging on-brand campaigns across a variety of outlets.
The projects and needs for this position change quickly, and we need a strong team member who can think quickly on their feet and move seamlessly between projects without missing a beat. If you're up for new challenges with a fun team, we want to meet you!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize your experience with HTML, CSS, and JSON and other programming languages to further develop and maintain our websites.
- Use design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud to create striking visuals and design elements.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of basic design principles, color theory, and typography best practices, and how they are applied in a digital environment
- Apply your knowledge of UX/UI design to optimize our user experience and interface elements.
- Leverage your experience within the Shopify ecommerce environment to design and enhance online shopping experiences for our customers.
- Collaborate effectively in an open team environment, working closely with designers, content creators and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrate basic technical and on-page SEO knowledge to optimize website performance and visibility.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in web design, communication design, graphic design, computer science, data science, or a comparable field.
- One to two years of experience working with an in-house or agency design team, demonstrating a strong portfolio of digital-first / web design projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JSON, (javascript & php would be a bonus)
- Experience using design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office
- Strong visual design sense and a solid understanding of basic design principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design concepts and the ability to create intuitive user interfaces.
- Previous experience working within the Shopify ecommerce environment (candidates with theme customization experience will be given preference)
- Solid WordPress development skills, including theme customization and plugin integration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
