Web Design Intern

Overview:
One of the largest and fastest growing disaster restoration companies – we provide water damage and fire damage services to residential and commercial customers – is in search of a Web Design Intern. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to perfect how to make professional looking websites using an off-the-shelf website builder such as Squarespace. Essentially, we’re looking for someone who wants to build their web design portfolio and make money doing it. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Build a new website for our East Coast construction business
• Build a new website for our West Coast construction business

Qualifications:

• Web design experience, ideally with Squarespace (so non-tech/design staff can manage the sites after your internship ends)
• Track record of success in school and/or past jobs
• Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects with the highest attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Capable of working fairly independently
• Communication skills, both written and verbal
