Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency with Figma.
- Understanding of design principles including layout, color theory, typography, and user experience (UX) design.
- Ability to design for mobile devices using responsive design techniques.
- Experience creating wireframes and prototypes to test and refine design concepts.
- Familiarity with user research techniques such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines and designing with accessibility in mind. Awareness of current design trends and emerging technologies and ability to apply this knowledge to design work.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with other members of the design team and stakeholders from other departments.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of work, and be open to feedback and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Redesign parts of the app in line with brand and design guidelines.
- Conduct user research and present findings to the design team.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for new features.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented properly.
- Gather requirements and align designs with business goals and priorities.
- Stay up to date on design trends and technologies.
- Provide feedback on other designers' work to ensure consistency and quality.
- Contribute to the development of the company's design system.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Continuously iterate and improve designs based on user feedback and data.
