Visual Design Intern

Epsilon is seeking a Visual Design Intern to support our Digital Experience Team. In this role, you will get exposure to working with multiple clients and projects with a multi-functional team. You will work closely with a team who is responsible for designing websites, mobile apps, target displays, storyboarding for virtual reality, and a variety of digital email campaigns.As an intern you’ll participate in a formal Intern Program, which is an 11-week summer program that aims to create a meaningful early career experience for university students. The program offers professional development & hands-on training, networking opportunities with people throughout the business including multiple projects & social events, and the consideration for full-time employment.Responsibilities May Include (All Or Some) Tasks Below

• Collaborate with internal teams to define user interface requirements
• Combine various colors, shapes and typography fonts to improve user experience
• Use visual design software to refine illustrations
• Apply sketching techniques, like gradients and contrasts to enhance digital images
• Develop prototypes and models to use in various products to maximize aesthetic consistency
• Brainstorm new ideas, layouts and graphics
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree candidate with Design, Visual Arts, or relevant concentration
• Previous exposure to Adobe Photoshop, Zeppelin, Sketch, HTML/CSS
• Portfolio required
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
• Passionate about digital marketing/advertising
• Excellent listening & communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work in a team & build effective relationships
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Self-starter, with strong initiative
