Position Description
We are seeking a creative and talented Visual Communications Designer Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for a design student to gain hands-on experience in creating visual assets, marketing content, sales aides, websites, and branding materials.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to understand project goals and objectives.
Design engaging and visually appealing marketing materials, including brochures, banners, social media graphics, and presentations.
Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across various platforms.
Create visually stunning and user-friendly websites that align with the company's branding and objectives.
Assist in the creation of sales aides and promotional materials for various products and services.
Stay updated on design trends and technologies to ensure the company's visual communications remain innovative and relevant.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and deliver high-quality visual assets.
Qualifications:
Must be able to dedicate at least 20 hours/week to this internship
Currently enrolled in a graphic design, visual communications, or related program.
Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Figma.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous design work and projects.
Understanding of branding principles and the ability to create cohesive visual identities.
Familiarity with web design principles and experience using website design tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines.
