This is a 1-year maternity leave coverage position, with the possibility of extension to a permanent position. Ideal start date is between July 31 and August 7. Applications will close on July 12, or sooner if a suitable candidate is found.


We're seeking a talented website designer to add to our growing team and help us create exceptional websites and digital products. As a designer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to continuously learn and grow your skills. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, a strong understanding of UX/UI best practices, typography, layout, and visual design skills. We're excited to work with someone who is passionate about their craft and eager to contribute to our collaborative team.

About The Role


You’ll be joining a close-knit team of supportive UX/UI Designers and Developers. You’ll be given the opportunity to take on challenging, rewarding projects while receiving the coaching and resources you need to continue in your professional development. You will work on an interesting assortment of custom websites, template designs for our products' users, apps, branding work, and more.


Essentials

  • Understanding of the latest in UX and UI best practices
  • Portfolio of websites you have designed
  • Proficiency in tools such as Sketch, Figma (or the Adobe Suite)
  • Familiarity with accessibility best practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with UI animation and microinteractions
  • Some proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Graphic design and branding skills
  • Experience working within a CMS (Wordpress or others)
  • Photography
