About Us:
Sponsor a Pet is a fundraising platform dedicated to providing Animal Non-Profits a platform to raise the necessary resources to save the lives of animals. Our mission is to create a loving environment for every animal and to work towards the elimination of kill shelters, animal abuse, and the destruction of their habitats.

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer Intern to join our team. You will be responsible for creating an intuitive and visually appealing online experience for our users, ensuring that our mission and values are clearly conveyed through our website.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with our development team to implement interactive and visually appealing designs.
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to iterate upon the design.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Skills and Qualifications:
Proven UX/UI experience with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React or Angular.
Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Tailwind.css.
Strong visual design skills with a good understanding of user-system interaction.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js and Rails is preferred.

Compensation

Compensation will be college credit and can turn into a full time position as we grow. This can lead to a full time job.

Our goal is to provide a platform for animals, non-profits, Individuals, and companies alike.
