About the role

As a User Experience (UX/UI) Designer, you will be part of the UX/UI team and with a charge to help discover, define, design, and implement our UX/UI Interaction Design strategy. You will help discover and build upon existing insights, work closely with multi-functional teams and partners to create experiences that establish and strengthen relationships and deliver delightful experiences to our customers.

You'll be responsible for elevating our digital experiences and guiding the definition of excellence in our digital products.

What you'll do

  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Empower, organize, and execute design initiatives creatively and meticulously
  • Collaborate with Product teams to prioritize requirements for releases
  • Take ideas and concepts and translate them into world class designs for IOS, Android, and web products that effectively meet the needs of internal leaders, partners, and most of all the customers
  • Contribute to design development throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial explorations through final design work. This includes continuous QA during development to ensure the product is aligned with the design specifications
  • Push creativity, challenge established thinking, and discover new ways of solving a problem
  • Develop visual design prototypes ranging from comps to interactive mock-ups
  • Communicate design rationale effectively to key partners
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams (fellow UXers, CX, product owners, and other key partners) to create compelling visual designs of interactive experiences
  • Work closely with product owners and to deliver the final product
  • Understanding of platform and device requirements such as form factors, screen resolutions, pixel density and aspect ratios
  • Spark fresh ideas that are infused in our culture and our products

What you'll need

  • 0-2 years Interaction design experience building and designing native apps for IOS and Android
  • 0-2 years’ experience digging deep into complex user experience design ideally of a global nature
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating the successful delivery of innovative interface design solutions
  • A working knowledge of interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand identity management, digital marketing and the creative process
  • Demonstrated knowledge in mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
  • Excellent visual design skills; attention to detail and a demonstrated proficiency in typography, color, and layout
  • Ability to organize own projects and work efficiently with some oversight
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills particularly across disciplines and teams
  • Experience working closely with (and at times leading) visual designers and development teams
  • Ability to translate concepts, business & user requirements into wireframes and prototypes that demonstrate intuitive user experiences
  • Experience and understanding of product management and the agile process
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Proficiency with usability testing and various UX heuristics
  • Demonstrate using data to inform your design decisions
  • Familiarity with the latest trends in mobile app user experience
  • Ability to use prototyping tools to convey design intent
  • Demonstrate knowledge in designing for a global mobile product across multiple platforms.
  • Operational understanding of Accessibility and ability to incorporate accessibility.
