Job Description

GDIT has a great opportunity for a UX/UI designer to support the redesign of web based application for EPA”s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager application. This person will be part of an agile delivery team focused on redesigning a public facing web application with an emphasis on providing modern and intuitive design. This person will serve as a core support member for the team working closely with the Business Analysts and high performing development team.

• Requirements
• US Citizenship
• Bachelor Degree (preferably related field)
• Demonstrate passion for creating user-friendly experiences
• Plan and conduct user research studies to support the creation, refinement and validation of user personas
• Create of journey maps
• Information Architecture
• Data Visualization
• Current accessibility guidelines (Section 508)
• Ability to apply user-centered design principles in an Agile development environment
• Create wireframes/prototypes
• Create visual style guides
• Create aesthetically-pleasing interfaces
