SPECIFIC:
– Collaborate with R&D and marketing to define and implement innovative solutions for the medical device product direction, visuals, and experience
– Execute all visual design (focused on GUI) from concept to product launch
– Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks, quickly iterate and refine ideas with feedback
– Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the design functions and looks like
– Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
– Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback,
– Learn about the clinical applications
GENERAL:
While working with a team of product designers and under the supervision of a senior product designer, the co-op will be expected to engage on some of the following types of activities:
