Job Duties

Work across consumer facing and B2B software products researching UX designs. Work with teams to integrate AI, damage detection by researching user experiences, including in applied research setting. Identify, prioritize, scope research needs. Design and execute user experience research projects, including user experiences in applied research settings. Run research activities including user interviews, focus groups, contextual inquiry, quantitative surveys, diary studies, co-design sessions, concept evaluation, usability and concept testing. Frame customer needs to guide product design, strategy, innovation. Execute primary research. Translate research findings into strategic narratives. Communicate results to management. Monitor consumer trends. Technical environment: statistical analysis (Regressions, ANOVA, T-Tests); design review and evaluations; journey mapping methods (from user journeys to service blueprints); writing user stories; Heuristic evaluation; Task analysis, Miro; Notion; analytics tools.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction or Information Technology or Computer Science or related field plus six months of experience in the job offered or in user experience researcher or as a UX Intern/researcher required. Required Skills: experience with qualitative and quantitative UX research, user experience research in an applied research setting; conducting in-depth interviews (stakeholder and SMEs) or focus groups and concept testing or usability testing; Contextual Inquiry; executing primary research; translating research findings into strategic narratives; statistical analysis; Design evaluations, mapping methods (from user journeys to service blueprints); writing user stories, Heuristic evaluation, Task analysis; Miro; Notion; analytics tools. Telecommuting permitted.
