UX Researcher - Qualitative - Job Description
Responsibilities
We need an agile Junior to Mid-Level Qualitative User Experience Researcher who understands the Pareto Principle and will move quickly and provide insight which inspires and helps us deliver amazing end to end products and experiences.

Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of user research methods (both qualitative and quantitative) and when to apply them
- Hands-on experience with user testing, field research, survey design, online user research and experimentation tools, and usage data analysis.
- Able to interface effectively with Developers, Product Managers, and Designers
- At ease calling, scheduling, and recruiting users for interviews, field studies, and testing
- Comfortable with fast-paced work environment and responsibilities for multiple projects at any given time.
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience conducting research on consumer
- Experience conducting research on an end-to-end product - creating research agendas and schedules, defining, and tracking user experience goals and metrics, driving execution on projects, and managing the work of additional resources.
- Hands-on experience with user testing, field research, survey design, online user research and experimentation tools, and usage data analysis.
- Experience with a range of research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative techniques) and the right balance between the two.
- Data analytics, machine learning, and basic wireframing skills a huge plus!
Additional Responsibilities:
- Leadership skills to influence across and up the organization to bring customer empathy and understanding to the table.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; experience presenting to executive-level audiences; proven track record of bringing clarity to messy data stories.
- A true advocate for the design of inclusive and excellent user experiences for customers
- Demonstrated ability to visualize and present rich research data simply and clearly.
- A track record of moving beyond data by translating customer needs, behavior and insight into user requirements, and work with engineers, program managers and designers to develop specs that achieve an intuitive and usable experience for our customers.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and demonstrated agility and flexibility in decision making and the way you work. You demonstrate an openness and growth mindset in all that you do
- Comfortable working in ambiguous product areas, informing new opportunity spaces and high value customer experiences
Appreciated but optional:
- Experience with Atlassian Suite
- Understanding of the different color systems and graphic formats
- [Mac users] Mastery of MacOS and Microsoft Office
- [Windows users] Mastery of the windows platform and Microsoft office
- Being a degree holder in a graphic design, visual communications or other design field.
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $105,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.
This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
