The Sabre Travel Solutions UX team creates compelling, consistent, and highly usable experiences for the travel industry. We approach our projects with high standards, utilizing best practices to deliver compelling user experiences.
The UX Research Intern will assist the UX Researcher(s) with planning, designing, and executing research projects, including research participants recruitment, test guide preparation, study setup and execution, data collection and analysis, note-taking, etc. to ensure the results are delivered on time and meet our demands for high quality.
Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Coordinate recruitment and scheduling of research participants
- Work with internal stakeholders to recruit client-sourced participants
- Set-up Teams and send calendar invites for “Save the Dates”
- Coordinate gift card compensation and delivery for participants
Study Design
- Enter unmoderated test plans in UserTesting/OptimalSort
- Assisting with building surveys in Qualtrics
- QA studies that you did not enter in Qualtrics
- Provide updates of studies fielded
Set-Up
- Coordinate prototype completion and review with UX designers
- Set Team meetings for moderated tests
- Pilot test setup
- Assist with the creation of the test scenarios, tasks, study guides, interview guides, and spreadsheets and Murals for capturing the research metrics and data
- Assist with the set up of the tested applications (e.g., creating test reservations, test products, etc.)
- Assist with capturing findings and observations during the research sessions
Analysis
- Analyze collected research data and notes for common themes and patterns
- Document usability findings
- Assist with creating usability findings reports
Special Projects
- Perform “desk” research to create proto-personas
- Perform research to analyze competitor capabilities and strengths/weaknesses
- Assist with internal R&D efforts
- Help to organize research artifacts on Sharepoint/Teams location
- Other internal initiatives to support the day-to-day operation of UX research
Skills
- Analytical skills - Ability to collect lots of information, distill into meaningful data, and articulate insights
- Usability - Familiar with usability guidelines and user interface design principles
- Communication - Good listening skills and good communication skills, both oral and written
- Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.

Education & experience
- Currently pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field with a graduation date later than August 2024
