Our ideal candidate is a graduate student who is currently studying - Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Engineering Psychology, Experimental Psychology, or other human behavior research related fields.

As the UX Research Intern, you will conduct independent research on multiple aspects of our product and user’s experience for our rapidly growing Ed-Tech SaaS platform. You will work with an experienced team of UX Researchers, UX Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to drive world-class user experiences.

• A UX research intern to work with an experienced team of researchers and designers on research projects involving evaluative research such as usability testing and formative research specifically using the Jobs-to-be-Done framework.
  
• A critical thinker with a strong interest in UX research and design
  
• A multi-tasker who knows how and when to effectively trade-off formal methods with pragmatic approaches to move swiftly and deliver impactful results a fast paced environment.

What you will bring

• Use formative and evaluative research methods and frameworks to collect data about user needs, and product requirements to drive future re-designs.
  
• Coordinate with designers, analysts, and product stakeholders to design research plans that result in valid, impactful knowledge about users, user experiences, and behavior.
  
• Conduct user research studies full-lifecycle including: fielding research requests, proposing methods and metrics, creating test plans and scripts, pilot testing, executing tests, analyzing
  findings, synthesizing insights and recommendations, and compelling communication of results.
• Bachelor's and/or MA/MS degree earned or in progress in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Engineering Psychology, Experimental Psychology, or other human behavior research related fields.
• Interest in UX Research, including anthropological research and testing applications from concept to release.
• Fundamental academic level exposure to formal research methods, experimental design, and statistical concepts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
