UX Research Intern

Have you ever wanted to break into the field of user experience research? We are looking for a paid UX research intern to join our team for up to 12 weeks. The internship requires 40 hours of work per week during the hours of 9am-5pm PT.The ideal candidate will have base-level knowledge of qualitative, quantitative, or mixed method approaches to conducting research. The ideal candidate will also be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience, such as participation in a UX research boot camp, will also be considered.Our paid internship ($20/hour) provides an opportunity for students and early-career professionals to gain practical experience with research design and evaluation techniques. Interns will also train under professionals with significant expertise in the research and design fields. Under supervision, interns will work on 2-3 projects with opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally with designers, engineers, marketing teams, and data scientists. Interns can expect to learn how research projects are designed, executed, and evaluated in a dynamic industry setting.Qualifications

• Familiarity with user experience research methods such as interviews, focus groups, usability tests, survey design, card sorts, and/or basic statistical analysis
• Current or recent enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field
• Equivalent experience also accepted
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have

• Familiarity with common user research tools, such as UserZoom, User Testing, Qualtrics, and/or SurveyMonkey

Most internships pay $20/hour. Zenni will provide paperwork to fulfill course credit for an institution, if applicable.
