What’s the Role?

The Research Coordinator’s role is to help the research practice operate more efficiently. They do this by handling the logistics to make research run smoothly so that researchers can focus on what they do best – conduct research.  Research Coordinator duties may include project and client management, creating and managing materials for research, participant recruitment and session scheduling, incentive management, tool and data management, etc.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage projects across the research organization. Including
  • Preparing study materials and data collection tools for research sessions
  • Scheduling planning, research, and report-out sessions for researchers
  • Preparing data for analysis
  • Creating and managing data repositories and handling records retention
  • Coordinate research participant recruitment
  • Identify and recruit research participants per researcher specifications
  • Coordinate schedules of research participants, researchers, and stakeholders
  • Manage incentives
  • Manage lists of past and future research participants
  • Manage software systems used for data collection and analysis
  • Coordinating with Design Program Managers, Design Leads, and other stakeholders
  • Work as part of the larger Design Operations team and may be called upon to do operational work for the broader design organization.

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
  • Experience providing operational support to fast-paced research teams.
  • Experience with research participant recruitment
  • Demonstrated skills in increasing team efficiency.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to the right details to ensure operations run smoothly
  • An ability to anticipate and proactively solve logistical issues so your team knows they’ll never miss a beat when you’re coordinating their work.

Preferred experience & skills

  • You will have approximately 2 years’ experience collaborating with research teams.
  • You have worked in a highly regulated environment like healthcare or financial services.

Compensation Range:

Pay Range - Start:

$57,820.00

Pay Range - End:

$82,600.00

Please note that this is the standard pay structure. Positions in certain locations (such as California) may provide an increase on the standard pay structure based on the location. Please click here for additional information relating to location-based pay structures.
