  • Proficiency in Product Design and User Experience, collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Articulate problem statements, solutions, and impact through well-organized presentations with strong storytelling skills to influence and persuade the audience.
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and supporting varying priorities.
  • Apply fundamental design methods with a focus on accessibility and the design system.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the product domain, business, and actively participate in stakeholder meetings.
  • Utilize design reviews to enhance quality within a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Support the planning and facilitation of end-to-end collaborative design sessions with senior audiences.
  • Maintain detailed design documentation for successful project launches.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic knowledge of design thinking principles to shape product vision and strategy in collaboration with product development partners.
  • Familiarity with user research methodologies to synthesize evidence and define problems.
  • Understanding of UX methodologies to define users and create meaningful experiences.
  • Proficiency in wireframing, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping to communicate ideas and solutions effectively.
  • Knowledge of design systems and their value in product development.
  • Familiarity with accessibility and current industry guidelines.
  • Experience working within an agile framework.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interpersonal discussions and design documentation with teammates, product development partners, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to communicate through storytelling to engage and persuade ideas and solutions.
  • Ability to empathize with our users and advocate for better experiences and user-centered designs.
  • Organized in design file management.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Figma and Fijam, showcasing your proficiency in design tools.

    Base Pay Information

The national base pay range is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $41,000 - $83,200ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONRewards to make you smile!
