UX Insights Analyst

This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Customer Experience team that's using guest insights to evolve our industry-leading channels and deliver personalized experiences. As a UX Insights Analyst (internal title: Experience Design Research Analyst), you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture! On the Experience Design team reporting to Senior Director, Experience Design Research you will support innovative projects including Hilton Honors, Digital Key, and Connected Room.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• Mine data from surveys, digital experience tracking tools, analytics systems, and other platforms to answer questions about customer needs, wants, and expectations. Proactively develop analyses based on trends and findings in the data.
• Become an expert for our Qualtrics integration, which deploys ongoing and ad hoc surveys to customers.
• Mine and analyze data from our digital experience tracking platform, and transform the data into insights for the digital product and design teams.
• Develop a system to gather and maintain a new panel of customers to be research respondents.
• Further develop our reporting and communication about our capabilities across the organization.
• Maintain and enhance backlogs and repositories for research and experimentation findings.

How you will collaborate with others:

• Support the research team by focusing on the customer and providing feedback that will aid the business, UX, design, and other groups in creating optimized products.
• Understand the work, strategy, and future goals of product teams to anticipate needs and requirements
• Partner with the broader Experience Design team to ensure research findings are shared and incorporated into other initiatives.

What projects you will take ownership of:

• Support our Qualtrics integration; further develop our session capture platform integration; create and manage research respondent panels; analyze Adobe analytics data; and manage our repositories of research findings.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• One year of overall work experience in insights or analysis
• Travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:

• User experience (UX) analytics experience
• Familiarity with various UX research methodologies and quantitative data-mining
