Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated User Experience Design Intern to join our team. As a User Experience Design Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced design team and gain hands-on experience in the field of user experience design. This internship position offers valuable learning opportunities and the chance to contribute to real-world projects - we built our core business model around solving female illiteracy via the ethical fashion vertical, and education is at the center of everything we do!
ONE30M spans several brands across fashion commerce, publishing, media and experiential. As a millennial and female led tech-startup, we are passionate about integrating cutting-edge technologies into our platforms and events - think Hologram, Shoppable Video Technology and Virtual Realities.
Duties
- Collaborate with the design team to refresh existing commerce and magazine platform, using intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for desktop and mobile optimized
- Assist in the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs
- Create interactive animations and transitions using tools such as Adobe After Effects (experience in digital marketing and editing influencer videos with SFX is a plus!)
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user experience design
- Modify landing pages and or integrate third party products (APIs) such as Canva, Catalog Manager etc
Requirements
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and layout design
- Knowledge of Wordpress, Shopify, and layout software such as Crocoblock and Elementor
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Figma, or similar software
- Ideally, some knowledge of mobile application design principles
- Familiarity with product development processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
