As a UX Design Intern at Farm Credit Services of America you will gain an understanding of our design team and learn how to work across the entire experience design lifecycle: from product discovery and experimentation to design and delivery. This is a great opportunity to gain in-depth experience and learn the primary responsibilities of a UX Designer.  

Here are a few things you might be doing as a UX Design Intern:

• Learn about the planning, design, execution and analysis of pragmatic testing scenarios.
• Observe ideation, elaboration and sketching sessions.
• Assist with style guide updates to design system based on user feedback, trends and best practices.  
• Observe the development of use case scenarios, planning and execution of usability testing to be leveraged in the design of interactive prototypes.    

Travel Time

• Travel will be required to the Omaha office three times during the 12-week internship.  Orientation, mid-summer and final presentation, dates TBD.

Education Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Engineering, Computer Science or Design
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale  
• Demonstrated leadership abilities  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)  
• Strong desire to pursue a career involving sales, marketing and territory management.  
• Available for a 12-week internship during summer of 2024
