JOB DETAILS

  • Location: In office, Hybrid, or Remote Working options. Corporate office is in Indianapolis, IN
  • Relocation Expenses Reimbursed: No

SUMMARY

The UX Designer is responsible for designing creative, intuitive websites and user experiences that meet the needs of our customers, while ensuring business and marketing objectives, customer goals and brand strategies are satisfied.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and implement usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, prototypes, and high- fidelity mockups.
  • Ability to collaborate on design projects iteratively in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Create rapid iterations of design prototypes that can be tested and validated with users.
  • Assist with user testing activities in order to iterate designs based on feedback from customers.
  • Leverage data and consumer feedback to drive design decisions instead of opinion.
  • Conduct appropriate user research and analysis methods to answer the research questions at hand.
  • Articulate industry trends and make recommendations on the benefit related to the product roadmap.
  • Advocate and be the voice of the customer.
  • Develop design requirements.
  • Assist on prioritizing opportunities, constraints and features along with estimation efforts.
  • Comfortable supporting daily UX decisions with the product/project manager, developers, and other business units.
  • Motivated to continuously learn new skills and capabilities they do not currently possess.
  • Open to feedback and engages in active listening.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6-12 months of relevant web design/development experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize/complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Working knowledge of modern front-end development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, and JS).
  • Strong creative skills and ability to generate new design ideas
  • Familiarity on technical capabilities and constraints across devices.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, User Experience, Human Computer Interaction or other design related field
  • Familiar with UX industry standards and trends.
  • Proficiency in modern design applications (i.e. Figma, InDesign, Adobe CC, Invision, etc.)
  • Experience with Visual Studio, VS Code, and Git is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies for project delivery.
