Job Description
Location: Stevens Point, WI Corporate Office (Hybrid)

Preferred location in Wisconsin, but may include remote opportunities in the following states: AZ, FL, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, PA, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI.

No relocation assistance is provided.

Starting salary: $64,960.48

As a UX Designer you will work with development teams and Product Management to bring a user-centric focus to projects. User feedback is a driver of our software development, and every project is a user story waiting to be fulfilled.

As a Skyward UX Designer you are a UX generalist, working with development teams on projects from start to finish – from initial design to post-release research. The UX Designer will create & execute the visual and interaction design of Skywards products, ensuring they are appealing, engaging, and useful.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling experiences based on customer needs.
  • Use your UX creativity skills to create user flows, task flows, wireframes and prototypes to ideate and test solutions.
  • Coordinate and conduct usability tests and feedback sessions to gather insights of customers' needs.
  • Work closely with the product team to conduct user research efforts such as: surveys, usability tests, user interviews, design thinking sessions, competitive research.
  • Present research findings and design work to stakeholders for review and feedback. Explain how design solutions answer user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Clearly communicate designs and specifications to the development teams.
  • Champion and maintain consistent visual standards and keep the living Style Guide up to date.
  • Lead development user validation plans as well as capture post release metrics.
