🔧 Position Overview:

As a UX Design Intern at TravelMates, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that directly impact our platform's functionality and user experience. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals who are dedicated to creating a vibrant and inclusive travel community. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a startup environment collaborating with software developers and management personnel.

🚀 Responsibilities:

-User Research: Dive into user personas, conduct surveys, and gather insights to understand user needs and behaviors in the travel space.
-Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to illustrate design concepts and user flows.
-Collaborative Design: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketers to ensure cohesive and user-centric designs.
-Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests, analyze feedback, and iterate designs based on user insights to continually enhance the app's usability.
-UI Design Support: Collaborate with UI designers to maintain consistency and ensure seamless transitions from wireframes to visually stunning interfaces.

📚 Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Interaction Design, or related field. -Expertise in industry-standard design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD. -Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. -Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• A passion for travel and an interest in creating unique and memorable travel experiences is a plus.
