Position Summary:

The UX Designer will be responsible for working with the Senior UX Designer and Product leadership to create engaging and intuitive digital experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing UX/UI solutions, as well as a solid understanding of user-centered design principles. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define user personas and journeys, and create wireframes and prototypes that meet the needs of our customers.

The ideal candidate has a desire to solve interesting and complex customer problems and will work collaboratively to craft end-to-end experiences that go beyond the status quo while balancing user needs with business strategy and technical capabilities. They believe in using research as a foundation towards good design practices and patterns and evaluative approaches to iteratively improve our products.

The right candidate enjoys collaborative efforts, taking feedback and input from your leadership, peers, partners and stakeholders. They communicate effectively and share a point of view that guides quality decisions.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with the Senior UX Designer and cross-functional teams to define and design user experiences that align with business goals and user needs.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and product partners to help define user personas and journeys.
  • Present design concepts, user needs, and design rationale to multidisciplinary teams, key stakeholders and business partners
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes that are scalable and have thoughtful design patterns in mind.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and to specifications.
  • Collaborate with other designers to create design systems and guidelines that ensure consistency and quality across all consumer digital experiences.
  • Analyze user experience data and provide recommendations to address business needs.
  • Participate in and contribute to learning activities around modern software design and development core practices.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our UX/UI.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of previous UX Design experience working in an Agile development environment, working directly with Product Management, Engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Experience designing consumer-facing web applications and mobile apps.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in developing wireframes, prototypes, and craft visual design elements for products.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of UX design work and the ability to solve complex design problems.
  • A good understanding of programming languages, content management systems and design tools
