Your day-to-day:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our software applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
- Create and maintain design documentation, including user flows, personas, and design guidelines.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to design standards across all products and platforms.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and incorporate them into the design process.
- Advocate for the end-user and contribute to a user-centred design culture within the organization.
Recipe for Success:At the very least, you’ll need:
- To be eligible to work in Canada and work on site.
- 2+ years of experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work with software applications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision or Axure.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture and interaction design.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C environments is an asset.
You are ahead of the curve, if you have:
- Experience working with project management tools such as Jira
- A portfolio of UX design work for mobile applications
- An understanding of the real estate industry and its various stakeholders
