Engineers and Geoscientists BC is currently searching for a User Experience Designer to join our team in Burnaby on a 1-year contract!
The User Experience Designer, reporting to the Manager, Website and Digital Communications, provides expertise in the design, delivery, evaluation, and maintenance of leading-edge user experience strategies and online experiences for users of our website. This position is responsible for leading multiple concurrent research, content design and strategy projects to meet the needs of our user groups.
In particular, this role will be focused on a large project to streamline and improve the user experience for international applicants, in line with the requirements of the new International Credentials Recognition Act. The UX Designer will work closely with our Registration department to assess the current state of applicants’ user experience and make recommendations to improve web accessibility and fairness in the registration process. The User Experience Designer provides advice on the development of web content/user experience strategies, standards, and performance measures, and provides feedback to improve our website and digital platforms, with the goal of ensuring content and features are user-friendly and accessible.

This role offers a competitive compensation and benefits program including a salary within our hiring range of $100,500 to $106,000.
