We’re looking for a collaborative and empathetic UX Design intern who is a creative problem solver. As a UX Design intern, you'll work with the UX team, product managers, and engineers to create work that has a direct impact on the company's success. You will be paired with an experienced mentor who wants to help you develop your career.
Key Responsibilities
You will participate in all stages of the product development process from conception through release, including:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define problems and goals, map user flows, and brainstorm solutions
- Creating wireframes, hifis, and prototypes that meet product requirements, customer wants, and technical feasibility
- Contributing to SupplyPike’s design language and system
- Iterating on product usability through UX research, usability testing, and user feedback
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.
- Strong understanding of typography, iconography, and user flows
- Familiar with prototyping tools such as Figma (that’s what we use), Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, or similar
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in design
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, intellectual curiosity, and eagerness to learn
- Can work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Basic understanding of design systems, HTML/CSS, and UI frameworks a plus
- Availability to work at least 15 hours per week during the school year
