Our Product team is rapidly growing and we're excited to bring on talented interns to make a direct contribution! The vision of this role is to enable millions of people around the world to be recognized for the good work they are doing for their company. You will go deep into the needs of our core users and support them on their end-to-end experience with Awardco.What you will do:
- Apply user-centered design principles to improve the workflow, expand the functionality, and enhance the visual appeal of websites and mobile apps
- Gather requirements from users and stakeholders, define information architecture, create sample user personas, and documents user workflow
- Designs wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- Perform user research, usability testing, or facilitate focus groups
- Apply the results from user research and usability testing to create new features and improve current features
- Work in close collaboration with UX mentor, project manager, and tech lead
- Take full ownership of a UX project for the duration of the internship
What you will bring:
- Enrolled in a relevant bachelor's degree program or within 1 year of completed program/relevant bootcamp certification
- Familiarity with various design software packages is preferred (Figma & User Testing Software)
- Coachable and open to feedback
- Strong communication and collaboration in a team environment
- Accountable and ready to take ownership over assigned tasks/projects
