UX Design Intern

StreamSets is looking for a passionate UX Design Intern candidate for the summer of 2023. You have a passion for UX and want to develop a deep understanding of the role of UX in an emerging technology company. As a company, we believe internships should be fun, challenging, and a mutually rewarding experience.

In this role, you will work with the UX team to research and design features for StreamSets within Figma. The project will be defined once the candidate has been selected. You will be mentored in the process on how to research, conceptualize, and design the project from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of UX as a team, implementing a design thinking approach to product design
• Participate in UX team activities, meetings and research and design sessions
• Tackle defined projects and learn to problem solve in a timely manner
• Participate in UX training exercises to further develop your skills as a future UX designer

Experience

• Bachelors or masters in Human Computer Interaction Design - HCI, Graphic Design - UI
• Proficient knowledge of UX and business software including Figma, Slack, CS Suite, and Google SuiteA
• Strong knowledge of UX Design laws (https://lawsofux.com/)
