Location:
This position is based in our Campbell, California offices, on-site & full-time. Imperative Care does not provide relocation or additional housing compensation for the summer internship.

We are actively building a team who is focused on developing novel solutions for this complex disease – a disease in which one in four adults will face in their lifetime.What You’ll Do:

We are looking for a talented UX Design Intern to be an integral part of the Telos R&D team. Are you interested in developing innovative, robotic-assisted technology to transform the way ischemic stroke is treated? You will utilize user-centered design practices to contribute to the UI design of our novel robotic-assisted system for stroke treatment. We are looking for someone who is eager to work at the intersection of digital and physical. To deliver on our mission you will craft solutions that take user experience, ergonomics, function, aesthetics, quality and safety into account.

  • Apply user centered design techniques to develop compelling UX design from concept ideation to visual mock-ups
  • Design and deliver user flows, wireframes, use scenarios, user journeys, mockups, and prototypes
  • Develop interaction concepts that take hardware and UI touchpoints into account, translating complex problems into simple and elegant solutions
  • Participate in primary and secondary user research to understand the context of your work, use it as the foundation and rational for UX concepts, and to continuously improve upon design
  • Work collaboratively with other designers, the engineering team and other stakeholder to come develop easy to use, safe and

What You’ll Bring: Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in UX Design, Interaction Design or equivalent
  • Design portfolio that demonstrates a user-centered-design process
  • Competent in the use of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
  • Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills
