Working closely with designers and researchers, the UX Analyst will be a passionate champion for discovering, learning about, and articulating Altus' users and user needs. Under the supervision of other senior UX members, coordinate UX/research activities and help gather feedback and insights from/about users broadly as well as on specific initiatives. Help assess how we can more effectively and efficiently collect and share user feedback. Be an advocate of our users by sharing insights and engaging in dialogues in the org

Key Responsibilities

• Help design user research/test plans; learn about what research methods are effective for testing what types of hypotheses.
• Schedule cross-functional meetings to discuss research objectives and plans for high-impact programs. Help the team stay organized by following up with action items.
• Recruit research participants and schedule user research/test sessions.
• Take down notes and key learnings from user sessions.
• Help synthesize findings and put them into digestible materials for stakeholders and relevant presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design, research, HCI, sociology, psychology, or related field
• Recently graduated or have ~1 year of working experience, looking to start their career in UX research
• We will also consider candidates who have been working in a different field and are looking to do a career change into UX/Tech
• Organized and detail oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of and interest in user experience research, product development, and design
