We are seeking a User Experience Research Intern to join our Product Experience team with a focus on enhancing the overall user experience of our products. As a User Experience Research Intern, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to better inform the development of our products and new features. Your work will be critical to our success in delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions to our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs in-depth research of competitor’s offerings, identifying the key strengths and values of those offerings
- Collaborate closely with our UX Researcher and other team members from various departments to analyze existing insights and develop new ideas to address business queries
- Develop and implement a detailed research strategy that covers all aspects of the project
- Determine the most suitable research approaches based on priorities, research objectives, timeframe, and available resources
- Utilize research and analytics to effectively communicate, advocate for, and refine design concepts to stakeholders, and analyze and incorporate feedback with an objective outlook
- Craft actionable, data-driven recommendations in partnership with the Product Experience Team
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
- Interested in pursuing full-time UX Research career
- Currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Centered Interaction, User Experience, Psychology, Design, Cognitive Science, or other equivalent discipline, Class of 2023 - 2026
- Ability to do external research, getting to and uncovering valuable information through primary and secondary research
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
- The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
- Strong team player who is comfortable giving and receiving feedback openly
- Comfortable working independently, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Open to exploring new software, concepts, and methodology
- Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are mid June 2023 – early August 2023. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
The pay rate per hour for this position is $18.50
