The User Interface / User Experience (UI/UX) and Graphic Designer contributes to the creative design and development of the user interface of the platform and mobile application associated with Sheridan’s new signature learning experience, S-Sense. The UI/UX and Graphic Designer is an integral part of a team that creates graphical assets, visual concepts using a human-centered and engaging interface for students to meaningfully use to facilitate the development of their own S-Sense. As a core feature of Sheridan’s 2024 Strategic Plan, the UI/UX and Graphic Designer draws from Sheridan’s new brand strategy and collaborates with key stakeholders from representative areas to ensure that the platform and mobile application not only emulate the desired aesthetic of S-Sense but align with Sheridan’s Brand across multiple platforms. The designer coordinates and supports usability testing, evaluates results, and contributes to planning associated with the evolution of the user interface and user experience, ensuring that associated designs reflect stakeholder input, showcase creativity, and demonstrates a strong analytical approach. The UI/UX and Graphic Designer supports the creation and implementation of graphic design components associated with the communication of S-Sense throughout the Sheridan community including students, faculty/staff, and to external partners through the development of graphic assets and visual concepts.
