User Experience Writer

Role: UX Copywriter

Job Type: Freelance, 2 months, 15-20 hours/week

Start Date: Interviewing now, starts mid-August

Rate: $45 - $50/hr (DOE)

Location: Remote

Our wearable, health tech client needs a UX Copywriter to join their team for a 2+ month contract, roughly 15 to 20 hours/week, all remote.

In this exciting opportunity, the UX Copywriter will work closely with the client's UX Design agency and internal Product team to develop content strategy and write UX and educational copy for the companion app to the client's wearable sensor!

Primary responsibilities for the UX Copywriter include:

• Partner closely with the design agency to help create / advise on design hierarchy, user flows, and overall strategy
• Write all in-app content, from naming conventions to buttons, calls to action, educational content, and more
• Ensure all content decisions are in line with product goals and satisfy the needs of the end user
• Manage content documentation

Skills / qualifications for the ideal UX Copywriter:

• Previous experience in consumer health apps / the healthcare space
• Bonus points if you have specific experience in diabetes, regulated medical devices, and/or health behavior change
• Familiarity with Figma
