We are in the early development stages of a new product and are looking for a talented and scrappy UX/UI designer to help us make fundamental design decisions as we are building out new features to bring the product to market. As this is a new product, we need someone who is confident and excited to build something from the ground up and is willing to collaborate in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

Your Day on Our Team:
As a UX/UI designer on our team, you’ll collaborate with one other designer and cross functional partners to help define and execute the vision for new features on our growing product. You understand that achieving great design is a team effort and requires collaboration with cross functional partners. Most importantly, you are willing to bring your whole self to work and find ways to have fun. You will collaborate to develop high level and detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate user interaction and design ideas. You’ll also run, or collaborate on, user research ranging from generative to evaluative studies. You’ll partner with our small but stellar product and engineering team to build digital experiences that distill complex information into simple and engaging customer experiences.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Executes across all phases of the design process from conception to implementation to include (but not limited to) user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design
- Great communication and collaboration skills with design peers, leaders, and partners across other functional areas like product management and development
- A love of experience design problem solving
- Excellence in the work you produce (both individually and with a team) as well as meeting objectives
- A proven ability to work on complex systems and within team settings
- Ability to deliver and receive feedback
- Consistently explore several design solutions, prototype, and iterate based on peer feedback, customer research, and experimentation
- Seek challenges and responsibilities while modelling a positive outlook even with complex challenges
- Experience working with integrated design and prototyping software and tools (like Figma)
- Having an understanding of design system patterns, design principles is a plus
- Prior experience creating desktop web and mobile designs
- Experience in interaction design
- Experience designing WCAG 2.1 AA compliant, accessible web designs
- Experience in working with users, developers, and product/project managers to create designs to suit needs on all ends of the team
- Experience in working collaboratively with other designers or team members
- Experience with graphic design and a strong sense of design principals
Technical Skills:
- Good command over design techniques and visual elements.
- Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Creative thinking with attention to detail.
- Expert with design software and editing tools such as Figma
- Familiarity with Vuetify 3
- Familiarity with front-end development or web
- Slack, Zoom, Asana, Gitbook and Google Docs experience
