Title: US Researcher

Location: Fully remote, US

Contract: 30 June 2023, strong potential to extend


IFG is on the search for a UX Researcher to support a global IT giant in USA on a contract basis.


Our client's research team is seeking a UX Researcher to conduct evaluative and generative research in the fraud risk management domain. In this role you will work with a cross-functional team working closely with design, program management, and engineers to understand our customers and their experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely and collaboratively with Design, PM, and Engineering partners to design and ship the product experiences that delight target users and customers
  • Drive and conduct user research to clarify and gain better understanding of user needs using a mix of research methods to inform product design including but not limited to usability studies, heuristic evaluations, interviews, surveys, benchmarks, and persona development
  • Communicate your findings in a clear and concise manner and drive meaningful action based on those findings
  • Document recommendations and point of view based on research and analysis


Skills:


  • A degree in human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, behavioral science, or a related field. Graduate degree is preferred OR industry experience where the most recent role is a UX researcher
  • 1-2 years of industry or relevant academic experience conducting user research / design research and effectively partnering with development teams to improve the user experience based on research results
  • Experience creating study plans and running large and small tests
  • Experience using varied user research techniques at various stages of the development process (e.g., remote testing, lab usability studies, heuristic evaluations, surveys, field research/ethnographic techniques)
  • Excellent collaborations skills, and experience teaming with designers to help prepare designs for testing
  • Accurate measurement and precise reporting of usability data and other research data
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze research data, create results presentations, and deliver them to design and product teams

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment
