Modernizing Medicine is delivering truly disruptive and transformative products and services that will impact the healthcare industry. The work we do makes a difference. Our web and mobile applications are transforming healthcare information technology to increase practice efficiency and improve patient outcomes. We offer end-to-end specialty-specific solutions from practice management, through EMR to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) that maximize office interactions, patient visits, collections, and reimbursements.
Modernizing Medicine's User Experience team is looking for a summer intern who is currently pursuing a degree in Experience Design, human factors, psychology, or related fields.
As a UX research intern, you'll work on complex research and design challenges - partnering with the designers to translate insights into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use solutions for thousands of medical practices around the country.
Achieving this goal requires collaboration with a team of UX researchers, UX designers, developers, and product roles throughout the design process—using research tools and methods including card sorting, tree testing, surveys, user interviews, affinity diagramming, persona and journey map development, usability testing, and workshops.
You will work with our team to better understand our users' needs through UX research studies and to help validate their designs.
