Your Role:

As User Experience (UX) Research Co-op you will be working with our research team to learn about the needs, wants and behaviour of customers. You will work closely with a researcher and help them conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand our customers' problems. As part of the research team, you will work with the business to understand their needs and collaborate with designers and developers to inform products based on data-driven insights.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to help solve tough problems and create great experiences that have a significant impact on our customers. You will be working with a team that values critical thinking, creativity and professional growth. About You:

  • Working towards (or recently graduated from) a human behaviour-related degree such as HCI, Psychology, Human Factors, Social Science, Statistics etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Course work or work experience with research methods
  • Course work or work experience with any of the following is considered an asset but not essential:some text
    • Data analysis and statistics
    • Data management and analysis using software such as R, SPSS, Excel, etc.

Your Job:

  • Participate in research activities such as meetings, project planning, materials development, etc.
  • Support a primary researcher in conducting studies from planning to analysis and reporting
  • Take responsibility for running a research project to address a product development need.

You will develop skills in:

  • Data management including gathering, cleaning and organizing
  • Data analysis and statistics
  • Identifying and refining research questions
  • Selecting appropriate research methods
  • Developing research materials such as research plans, discussion guides, surveys, etc.
