Who We Are
Catalog is a community-based social media app that’s expanding in the US market. Catalog is the subsidiary of an existing social media app with over 200M monthly active users and is backed by well-known investors. As a Strategy & Community Operations Intern, you will join a talented and experienced team of marketers, engineers and designers. You will play a crucial role in the localization and creative strategies.
What You Will Do
- Assist research groups (recruitment-related activities, data entry, note-taking, technical setup) to ensure that project work is delivered on time and meets our demands for high quality.
- Gather insights quickly and regularly to the product, design and marketing teams
- Participate in and gain an understanding of mixed methods research in the context of a working design firm and an integrated design practice
- Support specific research projects using quantitative or qualitative methods for data gathering and analysis
- Work with a multi-disciplined team of designers, marketers and product managers in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in any Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a focus on research methodologies, social science, design research, unique programs encouraged to apply
- Strong Community Organization Involvement
- Experience in participant recruitment, marketing and other related fields
- Experience reading and summarizing peer-reviewed research articles, individually or as part of a literature review
- Creation and administration of quantitative & qualitative studies, including but not limited to focus groups, surveys, one-to-one interviews etc.

Expected Start Date & Duration: Immediate start with at least 3 months duration.
Work Hours: 20 - 30 hours / week.
Compensation Range: Minimum $15 / hour
