The User Experience (UX) Designer is a vital position to the team working with Pella Corporation’s internal products and customer-facing websites. As a User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for producing UX and design deliverables for Pella Corporation’s digital experience. The ideal candidate will have a creative, strategic, and analytical mindset to match user goals to business requirements. In addition, you will be expected to use data to produce insights and recommendations for a better user experience. This position requires cross-functional collaboration, an aptitude to learn, and the ability to work independently. In addition, the right candidate must be a self-motivated initiative taker.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, peers, clients, customers.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations and ability to transfer and apply the concepts and techniques covered in a practical business situation.
MATHEMATICAL SKILL
Understands and can apply mathematical concepts to summarize and analyze sets of data. Is capable of calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, averages, medians and other basic statistical formulas. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems. Possesses and uses both a structured and an intuitive approach to problem solving.
Ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to recognize and investigate inconsistent data sets.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Strong analytical skills are necessary.
Excel, Word, Power Point experience required.
