As a Visual Designer, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to design and create visually appealing and effective decks and presentations. You will be responsible for transforming complex information and concepts into slides that effectively communicate key messages. Your role will involve understanding the content requirements, developing a visual narrative, and utilizing design principles to create polished and professional decks. You will work closely with IT leaders, service owners, subject matter experts, and other team members to develop and refine the content.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with presenters, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to understand the content requirements and objectives.
- Develop a visual narrative that aligns with the messaging and objectives.
- Create visually appealing and engaging PowerPoint slides that enhance the overall presentation experience.
- Utilize design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques to create polished and professional slide designs, including custom graphics, icons, and illustrations to visually represent concepts and data.
- Enhance and edit images, charts, and other visual elements to improve their visual impact.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine content and ensure the visual design effectively supports the message.
- Ensure quality of content and messaging by conducting quality assurance reviews to ensure accurate and error-free presentations.
- Manage the design, development, and editing of presentations, transforming complex content/data into a visually compelling and graphically engaging communications that inspire outcomes driven actions
- Support Digital IT leadership and collaborate with internal stakeholders to create high-quality presentation materials for strategic and executive level audiences
- Maintain the highest level of sensitivity and/or confidentiality in all efforts managed
- Develop and provide training on presentation design
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends and best practices to incorporate them into the organization's processes.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Understanding of technology concepts; previous experience working for a technology company or organization
- +2 years of relatable experience
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of design principles and layout techniques.
- Proficiency in creating custom graphics, icons, and illustrations.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in design elements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with presenters, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
