User Experience Designer

We are seeking a highly creative, collaborative, & agile UX Designer to join our team on a mission to reimagine classic card games for mobile phones. As a UX Designer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between game design and art, creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for our games. You will work closely with our game designers, artists, and developers to create immersive and engaging experiences for our players.

The Role: Provide broad design leadership for an ambitious new portfolio of games.

• Create high-quality, visually appealing, and intuitive user interfaces for our mobile card games using tools like Figma.
• Collaborate with game designers to understand gameplay mechanics and translate them into user-friendly UX designs.
• Create storyboards and mockups to visualize game interactions and flows.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs to improve player experience.
• Collaborate with artists and developers to ensure seamless integration of UI elements into the game.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile UX design to continuously improve the quality of our games.
• Bonus: Experience with Unity
• Bonus: Comfort with some UI production

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of game mechanics, user experience, and monetization strategies for mobile free-to-play games.
• Experience in designing and launching successful mobile games.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams.
• Background in game design, computer science, or a related field.
