More information can be found at www.mba.aero. Position Description: mba Aviation is seeking a highly motivated and creative UI Design Intern to join our dynamic team at mba Aviation. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our development team for REDBOOK - mba's online values platform, gaining valuable hands-on experience in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our SaaS data product.
Responsibilities
The Position is within the development team for REDBOOK, with the following responsibilities:
o Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and objectives of our SaaS platform. o Assist in creating the user interface's wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
o Conduct user research, and usability testing, and analyze user feedback to make informed design decisions. o Work closely with developers, stakeholders, and clients to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
o Help develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and UI pattern libraries specific to our SaaS platform. o Contribute innovative ideas and design solutions to enhance our software's user experience and overall usability. o Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in SaaS UI design. Qualifications Required o Must be authorized to work in the United States.
o Currently pursuing a degree in UI/UX design, human-computer interaction, visual design, or a related field.
o Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience designing interfaces for SaaS platforms. o Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
o Familiarity with prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or Principle.
o Basic knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus (CSS in particular). o Excellent visual design skills, with an eye for detail and aesthetics. o Strong communication and teamwork skills. o Prior experience working with dashboarding/AutoML tools is a plus.
