FNZ Group is an established and rapidly growing company in the FinTech industry. We are transforming the way financial institutions serve their wealth management customers. We partner with the entire financial industry to make wealth management accessible to more people. We do this by providing services that span the entire wealth management value chain, from the digital user experience, client, account and portfolio management through to back-office trade execution, settlement and investment/member administration.

Today, we are responsible for over £700 billion in assets-under-administration, held by around 12 million customers of some of the world’s largest financial institutions. We are expanding our team of over 4,500 employees (and growing) across 20+ offices globally.

Role Description:

You’re a designer who is naturally curious and passionate with a deep understanding of user-centred design (UCD) and strong analytical abilities. You have a keen awareness of available tools, technologies and trends, and can propose creative solutions informed by data and research while addressing business goals, strategies and technical limitations. You are comfortable with chaos. You thrive off working in a fast-paced environment inside a cross functional team of project managers, solution consultants, analysts and developers; and you can find solutions even without perfect precedents or direction. You will be involved in every aspect of the project lifecycle including research, idea generation, user journey design, low-fidelity wireframes, through to final high-fidelity design and implementation.

Specific Role Responsibilities:

Translate concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.

Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.

Design and deliver wireframes, user journeys, optimised for mobile, desktop and tablets.

Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.

Take a user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs.

Collaborate with other designers, as well as solution consultants, analysts and developers and other disciplines throughout the company.

Work closely with engineers during implementation and review final deliverables with an exacting eye, ensuring that layout, images, typography and general experience is flawless and on-brand.

Experience Required:

Experience designing rich interactive experiences, particularly large and complex web applications.

Ability to prototype in Figma.

Demonstrated history of acquiring user data (e.g. conducting usability studies, performing user research).

Mobile and tablet interaction design, including responsive design.

Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience.

A bonus (but not essential) is experience in the financial industry, particularly the wealth management sector.
