The UI/UX Team

The UI/UX Designer will join a group of passionate, talented designers with diverse skills and backgrounds. We excel at problem solving in the workforce management enterprise space, and our designs handle complicated problems that can cause real headaches for real people in the real world. Our software makes their work easier.

The UX team works in close collaboration with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to align the needs of the user with the needs of the business. Working closely with the Agile Scrum-based development teams, the UX team is an integral part of this dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About You

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who is experienced in both UI and UX, one who can make an immediate impact in our research activities and in designing responsive user interfaces that provide an elegant and intuitive user experience. Responsibilities

You’ll be working collaboratively with a geographically distributed team. Here are some of the things that you can expect to be doing day-to-day:

  • Brainstorm ideas and create mockups, prototypes, and similar artifacts that clearly communicate design concepts to the rest of the organization
  • Participate in cross-functional design reviews, effectively communicating design ideas and soliciting stakeholder feedback
  • Bring simplicity to complex design challenges and user scenarios
  • Plan and moderate user interviews and usability studies
  • Create design artifacts that both visually delight and serve users’ needs
  • Work with and help maintain the UX design system and component library
  • Solve design problems through teamwork, open collaboration, and consensus-building
  • Work directly with developers and product owners to ensure the finished product meets the design goals
  • Stay current with UI/UX trends and innovations through team-lead learning opportunities

Requirements

  • B2B software applications
  • Experience with creating responsive design in the context of web applications and mobile UI, in support of the deskless worker
  • Understanding of design principles for accessibility and internationalization
  • Experience with a variety of concepting, prototyping, and visual design tools such as Figma, FigJam, Adobe Suite, and Storybook, and aptitude to quickly learn new tools as needed
  • Experience with Material Design or similar design framework
  • Experience conducting user interviews and usability test sessions is helpful but not required
  • Ability to clearly express justification for your design choices and effectively give design feedback to others
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaboratively with a distributed design team
