Job Brief
We are seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the design and user experience of our SaaS platform. You will work closely with our development team to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and continuously improve our product based on user feedback and the latest design trends.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development:
- Create detailed mockups and prototypes using Figma to support the development of user-friendly interfaces.
- Utilize Miro for building comprehensive UX workflows and facilitating collaborative design sessions.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs into the WebApp.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
- Update and maintain landing page design and overall design themes.
- Ensure design consistency and alignment with our brand guidelines.
Continuous Improvement:
- Regularly update and refine UI/UX designs based on user feedback and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the user experience.
- Maintain comprehensive design documentation to ensure clarity and consistency across the platform.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- Deep understanding and proficiency in Figma and Miro for creating mockups, prototypes, and UX workflows.
- Basic understanding of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate communication with the development team.
- Strong visual design skills with meticulous attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
Project Management and Communication:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Innovation and Learning:
- A curious and eager mindset, with a passion for learning and implementing new design technologies and methodologies.
- An interest in understanding and leveraging AI to enhance user experiences.
Our team is strategically located in the vibrant heart of downtown Montreal (PVM). This role requires your physical presence in the office for three days a week. We believe that face-to-face interactions are crucial for fostering strong relationships within our development team and maintaining the agility needed in our fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation
As a start-up, we offer an attractive base salary with the possibility of a stock option pool participation.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
